What the Hell Are We Doing?

I know it's fun to look at things and occasionally point at them, but seriously, perhaps zoos are just a bad idea.

I mean, when you think about it, is it really all that smart to take an animal that can easily kill something 40 times the size of a human, stick in in a cage and then put humans right next to said cage?

NO! IT'S REALLY NOT!

Large predators caged in zoos as the oblivious humans look on is on par with 90yo car drivers passing buses at railroad crossings. I'm sure Daniel Tani is grieving for the death of his mom, but I wonder what he really thinks.

If my own mom had honked a bus at a railroad crossing, passed it, only to be killed by the oncoming train, I'd honestly be torn between crying and laughing. Sometimes we, as humans, just beg for own demise.

Caged predators is another such instance. When safeguards fail or go ignored, we get mauled by tigers or hit by trains. Maybe we deserve it?
